BRN of Shawnee recently had the opportunity to give back in a meaningful way by spending the day ringing bells for The Salvation Army outside Hobby Lobby in Shawnee. It may have been a cold day, but our members showed up with warm hearts and a shared commitment to serving the local community.
This volunteer effort was a simple but powerful reminder that small acts of service can make a big impact. Every donation collected helps support people right here in our area through programs that provide warm meals, emergency food boxes, youth development, utility assistance, disaster relief, Angel Tree support, and more for local families in need.

Local Businesses Serving the Shawnee Community
One of the things that makes BRN special is that our members care deeply about more than just business growth. We believe in building strong local relationships, supporting one another, and showing up for the community we all call home.
This Salvation Army bell ringing event was a great example of that spirit in action. BRN members bundled up, served together, and spent the day encouraging generosity during the holiday season. It was a meaningful way for local business professionals in Shawnee to come together and support a cause that directly helps families in our own community.

A huge thank you goes to the volunteers who served that day with heart:
